images to Music, liverpool orchestra

I am finding this part of the Music/image task harder. I think the fact it is so broad in possibilities, im going off on tangents everywhere, and as Alan said, not sticking to one idea and persuing it. I definately need to focus more on this. Hopefully it will be aided by going back to liverpool at the weekend, give my self some more specific ideas for locations.

I definatley liked the idea of mechanical trees in the centre of liverpool, not nessasarily palm trees, or rusted, but something contempory, but with the aspects of nature that i wanted to show in my Vaugn Williams piece. I think before i can pursue using Lark Ascendings id need to reach a successful conclusion to the previous task(ref previous blog)

I definatly have more hope pursuing this advertisment/awareness with my Micheal Nymans piece. The photos/animation i made was definatley more successful and had a very personal view of classical music, that can be a new way of getting to people about the liverpool Orchestra.

I think that il just have to work with that video. Definatly the stronger of the two. I need to get a better understanding of the environment its in. Thats why appeealing to clubbers is a bit of a dead end, unless its outside the club. But using the micheal nymans video may be a bit to harsh if theyve been out all nite. Thats why the idea of leaves falling in the streets would be cool. But once again its how to get across that it was advertising the Liverpool orchestra.

This is definately a head scratcher!!!
