Ethics..continued=website

This project has been really racking my mind. The first time that i'v approached a website for a practical/universal use. Previous ones have been more of a creative piece, so iv enjoyed developing it. But this one, im learning how to make a real website. There are so many rules for them that iv had to learn. Font is something that i deffenatly need to read more into(or atleast re-read stop stealing sheep:P)
When i first started this i was very confused, just did what first came out of my head. But iv definately learnt more about layouts. REMEMBER to always keep looking at other websites for an idea/inspiration.
I think what was hard is finding a layout/style that could continue through this site, where its a mix of 3 styles of site. Profile/Information center/magazine. But i think that iv been able to define the website as its own piece.
What dave said about turning this into PDF work i think is very true, and i will definately hold this for the end of term, when i should understand 'the rules' more.
Iv definately had alot of feedback on this, but so many different views. The people who would actually be using this site all like it and found it easy to look at/use. Tutors obviously seeing it from a design perspective are pointing out all the nigildy points in the font, the layout, the hierachy, the logo.....ect. And understandable, since thsi project is hopefully going into my portfolio, but how it is at the moment (from feedback) is great for the target audience. Part of me wants to persue this, and go forward to the AFF with it, seeing what they think of it as a possibility, not ness for the TA but also for army, raf ,ect...... There site is good, but i find flaws in it, and i think that this may be a bit of a step up....help....i dunno.
Just need to get a better understanding of webdesign before i push on with this project.
