End of the year

WEll its april, and its frikin scary how fast the years gone. Got bout 4/5 weeks left.
Just came of easter but unfornatley thanks to having ft work in claires(+overtime) managed to get barely 2 projects goin. Finished disertation presentation atleast, and got some work done on my interactive brief(not near wat i wanted tho)
As for my interactive, i do love the idea, the fact its kinda a version of bishi bashi, loads of mini games, but it puts the twist on a two player, that youre not batteling each other, not really batteling many things, just trying to survive the level working to gether. Once again had tons of fun and ease churning out the ideas for thiis one, just suck when it gets to the finer details of this:S
Like the character design, the simplisity. Think its needded for mobile screens, means that players are more into what theyre doing wiithout any distractions. Its just the intrecate level design. Taken some inspiration from big little planet(dear god i want to play that game now), but jsut need to keep goin, talk things through with alan, hopefully get some ideas.
As for istd, my strongest point was the idea, the final outcome was a bit of a letdown. Just doesnt have the kick i hoped it had. Maybe it wud be worth talking to some of the illustrators for their input/ideas.
All thats left this term really(atm) is my website. I really just need to sit down for a day and attack it full on!
Im definately enjoying going into game design, and since iv got flash lite on my phone, all i want to learn is how to make games for it. Made a few in flash but need a deeper course in the matter. Been given good references for game design, but its getting my head round the whole deal.
Yip just needed a work blurge, so think thats about it for now.
All apart from the mcmannan ericson summer school thing. It would be so helpful and i would honestly love to do it, its just worrying if i want to stay in wales over the summer i need to stay here and do a ft job. If i do this i gotta go back to norwich for the rest of it, cos i wont be able to afford it:( atleast hve that website possibley under my belt, give me a bit of money hopefully:)
